A hard-working distribution company based in Ecuador. Established in 2005, we hit the ground running with our direct approach to finding success. Large scale solutions, communication development and project managing, we offer our clients the full package.
Crisol Comercial began its operations in May 2005 with the representation of children's cosmetics Disney (Brazil) and NO-AD sunscreen products (USA). In 2006 acquired in its portfolio Vogue, the number one selling make up brand in Colombia.
In 2007 the professional division was created with Jolie Professional (Colombia), Olivia Garden (USA) and Maletti (Italy).
In 2008 started to develop their first own brand, BO BODY ELEMENTS and also received the representation of Barbie and Hotwheels products from Colombia.
In 2009, Crisol opened a branch in Lima – Peru, two years later, Hello Kitty and Sesame Street products were incorporated, and created the department of development of new products. At the end of 2011 Crisol extend its borders to introduce the brand BO into Central America, as it’s dreams to conquer other markets of Latin America.
This year we have started representing “Essence”, the number one selling make up brand in units in Europe, covering the teenage market segment.
Family History
In 1888 Hermann Moeller arrived to Ecuador from Germany. One year later he founded Moeller Inc. an import company with representations of German products. He then marries Lidia Martinez and has 6 children.
Two of them Gustavo and Guillermo follow his vision and expand the company throughout the twentieth century with famous international brands: Heidelberg Druckmaschinen AG, Beiersdorf, Schwartzkopf, Boehringer Ingelheim, Boehringer Mannheim, Nattermann, Glaxo, Grünenthal, Triumph Adler among others.
Today the third and fourth generation after 122 years, is in the business with the same passion of innovation, with a focus in the world of beauty and well being.
